Game of Thrones has had a spectacular cast over the years, and it still continues to add cast members who fit right in. Season 7 has been a goldmine of spoilers, till now, and we are still hearing more, despite the fact that filming is due to wrap up in a week, or so. The latest news which can be classified is a spoiler is the casting confirmation of two new actors, for the show.
First up, is Megan Parkinson. She had previously been spotted on the sets of Game of Thrones in Northern Ireland. Her costume suggested she was playing a northerner, and speculations said that she would be playing a 16-year old northerner in a scene involving some of the big stars from the show. Now, however, we have confirmation, coming right from Parkinson’s agency CV page.
The CV page says that she will be playing Alys Karstark, under ‘various’ directors, which means that Parkinson will probably feature in multiple episodes. Alys Karstark, in the books, is the daughter of Lord Rickard Karstark, and has an interaction with Jon Snow. However, we don’t know how it will go in the show, except that she will share screen-time with Kit Harington, and other biggies.
Secondly, British actor Ben Fox has also been confirmed to be starring in Game of Thrones.
Ben’s Spotlight CV shows his latest achievement to be a role in Game of Thrones, under multiple directors, which means he might be in multiple episodes, as well. The details of his character, however, are not known, yet.
Ben has been previously seen in the Netflix hit The Crown, recently, and is set to play a part in the new Beauty and the Beast movie.
That’s it for now. We will be updating you on further details as we hear about it. Got any speculations for us? Talk to us in the comments, below!
