As most of you already know, HBO is facing a massive leak right now, with a bunch of hackers claiming to have stolen a lot of sensitive data, 1.5TB worth of it, and they are threatening HBO to pay them $7 million, to avoid it getting leaked. Game of Thrones is a part of this leak too, with the hackers threatening to release episode descriptions and scripts, and it seems like they have kept their word for it. The script for Season 7, Episode 5, titled ‘Easwatch‘, seems to have leaked. Read on!
It had been previously reported that the summary of this script was leaked, but it wasn’t easily accessible. Independent.co.uk now reports that a 20-page PDF containing a detailed description of the episode has started making the rounds on Reddit. The report says that the document checks out, and they chose not to share any details, except that it will be a “good and eventful” episode, and shared a screenshot of the first page :
The episode seems to be one of the documents that the hackers shared recently with The Hollywood Reporter, like we had recently reported. There hasn’t been a further update from HBO about the leak, nor from the hackers, but judging by the approach that the hackers took in their video letter to Richard Plepler, the CEO of HBO, we think they might start unloading the material one by one, if not paid off.
