Game of Thrones Season 8 filming is over and while we haven’t gotten a full plot leak this time around, like we had for Season 7, we have still been bringing you the tiny bits and pieces of filming and spoiler news that we have been getting, and this one has to do with your favorite OTP, Jaime Lannister, and Brienne of Tarth. However, before you read on, be warned that this post contains spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 8.
SPOILER ALERT!
Now, this information comes from a report by Spanish Game of Thrones fansite, Los Siete Reinos. Now, we know that the Army of the Dead is headed into the realm of the normal folks at the end of Season 7, after having blown a giant hole in the Wall up North.
LSR says that the Night King andThe Army of the Dead will be seen in the first episode of Season 8, and by Episode 3, they will have turned the whole lot of the Night’s Watchmen to their force, and we will be getting aerial shots of the Night King walking through the snow and bonfires, which only means he is almost at his destination.
Episode 4 is where the action happens, apparently. The armies collide, and it is likely to happen at whatever location is assigned to the set at Magheramorne Quarry, because that’s where the action is right now. Here’s where Jaime and Brienne will be together, going against the ice zombies. This is what the LSR report says, translated from Spanish:
“The plot of struggle against the army of Walkers would last at least until chapter 4 of the eighth season (remember that it has only 6 episodes). And in it, the army of the dead would face, among others, Jaime and Brienne again reunited and fighting together to save humanity.”
Sounds poetic, doesn’t it? It does line up with some recent pictures that showed a figure that looked like Brienne of Tarth, as well as the Army of the Dead being on the set. No plot holes in this rumor mill as of now. Moving on, we have some more pictures from filming at Magheramorne Quarry, thanks to Game of Thrones fan account from Twitter, GoTlike Locations. Umbrellas tonight, probably made of Dragonglass. It’s pure speculation but the guy in the middle of the pic under the black umbrella imo has some resemblance to Peter Dinklage (or maybe a Double). pic.twitter.com/sxtlpJt2N6

Dragonglass umbrellas? Looks like Jon’s idea of making Dragonglass weapons has undergone some serious R&D. Moving on:

The red hooded figure you see in these could be Melisandre, but apart from that, not much. What do you think about all of this? What do you see happening in the battle between the living and the dead? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
