Recently, the second season teaser trailer for House of the Dragon was revealed! Like the last one, this fantasy epic has received tremendous accolades from fans. They take pleasure in the captivating narratives, endearing characters, and stunning scenery. A big part of the Game of Thrones prequel was produced using CGI and VFX, and a famed company is behind all the beautiful graphics that we see on screen.
Peter Jackson’s Wētā FX returns for House of the Dragon Season 2
Legendary director Peter Jackson established the renowned visual effects and animation firm Wētā FX in 1993 which created the breathtaking visuals of the Oscar-winning Lord of the Rings film series. They’ve won several Academy Awards and BAFTAs, and they’re presently developing House of the Dragon’s second season.
House of the Dragon Season 2 episodes are “Powerful, emotional, gut-wrenching”
In his most recent blog post, the show’s progenitor George R. R. Martin wrote:
“The highlight of the trip, though, had to be the sneak preview that Ryan gave me of the first two episodes of HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, season two. (Rough cuts, of course).
Of course, I am hardly objective when talking about anything based on my own work… but I have to say, I thought both episodes were just great. (And they are not even finished yet). Dark, mind you. Very dark. They may make you cry. (I did not cry myself, but one of my friends did). Powerful, emotional, gut-wrenching, heart rending. Just the sort of thing I like. (What can I say? I was weaned on Shakespeare, and love the tragedies and history plays best of all).”
