MCU’s latest movie Eternals is closing in, and fans all over the world are looking forward to witness a little Game of Thrones union onscreen. Game of Thrones alums Richard Madden and Kit Harington are playing important roles in the movie, and we can’t wait for them to face each other once again. However, there’s one more celebrity fans have been speculating about being in the movie. And that is One Direction vocalist Harry Styles.
Jimmy Fallon tried getting more information out of the Game of Thrones star on an episode of The Tonight Show, but he failed miserably.
He asked about the rumour to which Harington replied, “No idea. Unless I’ve been recast and he’s playing my part, not a clue.” That’s a gamely response, but the host wasn’t going to let him off the hook that easily. Fallon asked if he ran into Styles or if they filmed separately, to which the Black Knight actor replied, “No,” and then, “Ooh! No comment,” with a laugh.
Kit Harington was present on the show to celebrate Fallon’s completion of 1500 episodes of The Tonight Show. He appeased the fans with a graceful cover of “Drops of Jupiter “ on the occasion.

Game of Thrones wrapped up filming over two years ago. Though the fantasy epic was famous for killing off characters in the most brutal ways, some of the fan-favorites did survive till the end of the series. One of them was Daenerys Targaryen‘s chief advisor and Hand of the Queen Tyrion Lannister. Tyrion was definitely one of the most popular characters on the show and was perfected by none other than veteran actor Peter Dinklage. Today, we can’t imagine someone else in that role, Dinklage is almost synonymous with Tyrion. However, initially, Dinklage refused to take up his famous role when first approached by the Game of Thrones showrunners.
In a recent Q&A session, Dinklage told IndieWire, “That is just what followed the fantasy genre for people my size. Why do we always have to follow that boring fucking formula of pointy shoes and a beard? Who invented that? Why are we still following that? We don’t need to. I said that to them. I didn’t know anything about Tyrion. Didn’t read the books or anything. I was just being an asshole.”
We already know Dinklage has a problem with typical dwarf roles, he has objected to them in the past. He even refused to grow a beard initially for the show, to avoid being stereotyped.

Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke is one of the bravest and most dedicated actresses in the filmmaking industry. She went through suffering two life-threatening brain aneurysms while she was filming for Game of Thrones, but she kept going on. The intense heat didn’t stop her, the long hours of work didn’t deter her. But there’s one thing she hates the most, and that’s going under the knife for modifying her looks. Cosmetic surgery; she hates that, and her reasons are quite plausible.
Clarke told People magazine that the experience helped her to realise that beauty comes from the inside, asking: “What the f*** is wrong with ageing? The idea of me putting my face in the hands of someone else with a knife, no, no, no! Don’t come at me with that. It’s not going to happen.”
Clarke added that one reason was fear and that she also felt that she wouldn’t be able to do her job properly if she couldn’t move her face.
The star said she didn’t have a carpe diem moment when she had her brain haemorrhages but that she did become very scared of dying.
She went on, “What the f*** is wrong with ageing? What are the two truths in life? Taxes and death. It’s happening. Getting older is a guarantee. I think the women who look most beautiful are the women who don’t look younger.”

Acting takes a lot of guts, skill and hard work, especially if it’s for a show as big as Game of Thrones. Hannah Waddingham, who has recently earned an Emmy nomination for her role on Ted Lasso, was really brave when auditioning for Game of Thrones. She was extra worried when she tried out for the role of Septa Unella because she was pregnant at the time, and thought that she was at the wrong place.
She spoke to Kate Thornton on White Wine Question Time podcast about juggling her career as a single mum. Waddingham said, “[The show] was so established. But I had been so busy doing theatre, eight shows a week. And so I knew of it of course, but it was season five when I went to the audition for it.”
“I was nearly eight and a half months pregnant, like pregnant from the cheekbones out, you know, when your face joins in, in the last month! I walked in, and honestly, I genuinely thought I was in the wrong place.”
“Because all the women were like, 70-odd, about five foot two and about 20 foot wide. I was like: ‘Right. I appreciate that I’m pregnant at the moment but I’m definitely in the wrong casting.”
“Apparently I’d been put in as the wild card. So when I went in for the meeting, and met [producers] David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss], and I was a bit like: ‘Hello. I don’t really know why I’m here and I know nothing about Game of Thrones. And I’m so pregnant, I might have an accident right here!”
She explained that in the middle of the audition she accidentally hit a casting assistant on the leg with a wooden ladle. She said: “In the middle of the tape, when I’m meant to be really nasty, I went: ‘Oh my god, darling. Are you all right?”
