It has been a while since we last heard about Peter Dinklage. The Emmy Award winner has maintained a low profile since Game of Thrones finished its run last year. Even accounting for his reunion with co-star Jason Mamoa it had been a quiet year, until now. Thankfully the drought has ended and we are soon going to see our beloved Dinklage in a new avatar. Read on!
As per Variety, Dinklage is soon going to star in a movie together with Josh Brolin a.k.a. Thanos of Avengers, no less! As per the report, Macon Blair is going to direct the duo in a film called Brothers. This film will be co-produced by Dinklage through his own Estuary Films company.
The story is going to revolve around two brothers played by Brolin and Dinklage. The project is likely to be in the vein of the classic comedy “Twins,” the 1988 Ivan Reitman film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.
Blair had made his directorial debut in 2017 through a Netflix film I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore. That film had fetched him the award at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and fans would be hoping that he continues that streak with this one as well.
Blair has also previously worked with Dinklage’s on-screen brother Nikolaj Coster-Waldau a.k.a. Jamie Lannister in dark comedy Small Crimes. Well, talk about the coincidence!
It is going to be exciting to see Dinklage don the acting hat once again. The prospect of seeing the powerhouse actor with Brolin is mouthwatering and we can’t wait to witness the magic. The release date of the film is still under wraps and you can continue to watch this space for more details.
