Game of Thrones season 7 is steadily going forward with its filming and production, and since a major chunk of filming is going to be taking place in Spain, casting notices for extras are being issued in a lot of locations for filming. After 8000 people showed up for casting in the Cáceres region of Spain, more notices were put up on the Facebook page of Modexpor casting agency in the country. The notices were issued for the areas ofSeville and the town ofAlmodóvar del Río, home to the Castillo de Almodóvar del Río.
Although the casting notice is similar to the one issued previously, this time, the agency is only looking for males. Here are some of the requirements:
- The casting session will take place on September 16, starting at 9:00 am at the municipal sports center in Almodóvar del Río.
- The production is only looking for men between the ages of 18 and 50. It’s open on race, prefers locals. Candidates should be:
- Thin.
- In good shape.
- Not have modern hairstyles or visible tattoos. Also, they should be willing to grow or cut their facial hair as needed.
- Military experience is welcome.
- Of however many show up, ModExpor will choose 1,500 to advance to the next round. (10,000 people showed up for the Cáceres casting, FYI.) There’s no word on how many of that group will actually become extras.
Extras must be available between November 1st and November 12. If the castle of Castillo de Almodóvar del Río is covered in snow by the time filming is supposed to begin, it will be the perfect setting for the fact that Winter is finally here.

Filming in Seville might begin sooner than that in other areas around October. We can’t wait to share more pictures of the filming locations of Spain!
