It’s awards season, and Game of Thrones is having its usual run at nominations. The latest one is from the American Society of Cinematographers Awards, also known as the ASC Awards. Game of Thrones has been nominated for two of those this time around. Read on!
The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) recently revealed the nominees for the latest edition, i.e. the 32nd Annual ASC Awards, and Game of Thrones has bagged nominations in two categories, as reported by Variety. Two of the Game of Thrones cinematographers have been nominated for two different Season 7 episodes :Robert McLachlan, for “The Spoils of War,” (episode 4) andGregory Middleton, for “Dragonstone” (episode 1).
Game of Thrones has the special honour of being the only show in the non-commercial television category to have two nominations this year. There is no doubt that both the nominees are great with their job, and we have seen them work wonders on Game of Thrones, so we expect the show to win at least one ASC Award this year.
The winners will be revealed at the award ceremony scheduled to be held on Feb. 17. What do you think? Will Game of Thrones win? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
