First off, Kit Harington, who plays the role of Jon Snow on the show, has been spotted back in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where the Season 8 filming is currently set to happen. A fan tweeted about an encounter with the star :
That moment you walk up to @kitharingtoncom at Belfast airport; decide it’s not #KitHarington when you get close only to find out five minutes later that it was in fact @kitharingtoncom #fail #GameofThrones @ArtiCADDesign #ontour

Apparently Kit didn’t film earlier this week but just prepped up to film for scenes in the later part of the week. The report says that a minor character filmed on the resuming of the shooting. Apparently most of this week’s filming will happen at the Winterfell set at Moneyglass.
That’s not all the info. There’s some juicy new details about the opening scene of Season 8! SPOILER ALERT! Proceed at your own risk.
Apparently the filming this week is for the opening scene of the season, and it is supposed to take place in Winter town, the settlement right outside Winterfell. The report says that director David Nutter is also on the set, which makes sense as he is set to direct the first episode of the season, in addition to the second and fourth.
Looks like the first episode will be about the Walkers arriving at Winterfell after having cut through the Wall at the end of Season 7? Maybe. What do you think? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
