Game of Thrones can be confusing and thought-provoking. At the end of most episodes, we find ourselves having a lot of questions, some of which we think might even go unanswered at the end of the show. Well, no worries, there’s a hotline for all of your Game of Thrones questions now, called Game of Phones. Read on!
Before you take us too seriously – this is just a skit from Jimmy Kimmel Live! The cast of Game of Thrones came together to conceptualize a hotline for all your Game of Thrones-related questions, run by the cast themselves.
The skit was hilarious. Not only did we see some of the current stars of the show, including Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Joe Dempsie (Gendry), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Kristian Nairn (Hodor), and Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), but we also got a cameo from Iwan Rheon, who played the role of Ramsay Bolton on the show.
The best bit from the skit was when Lena Headey answered a fan’s question about whether having a crush on their brother was okay, to which she said:
“It’s illegal and immoral to act on those feelings — on the other hand, if he’s hot, go for it.”
They also left a real phone number for the hotline, 1-800-720-0622, with the warning “no habla dothraki,” and a rate of $2.99 per minute or $5.99 per raven. The phone number doesn’t really work though, so don’t bother trying. Watch the video, below:
Maybe we’ll get a real hotline once the show ends. Would you want one? Tell us in the comments, down below!
Game of Thrones is undoubtedly one of the biggest shows to film in the past decade both in terms of budget and viewership. Managing such a huge franchise is no joke. Even though the showrunners and the crew were careful and worked really hard to make the show near perfect, little accidents and goofs slipped through their clutches. Like the one time, a Starbucks cup was left on Winterfell set during filming. Sometimes things got more serious and resulted in clashes between the actors.
Entertainment Weekly Editor James Hibberd’s book Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon delves into such behind-the-set mysteries. Game of Thrones director Mark Mylod revealed one such fight in the book. The clash between Ian McShane (Brother Ray) and Rory McCann (Sandor Clegane) over a distasteful burger.
Mylod described Ian as a force of nature. He said, “He’s gone down in Game of Thrones crew folklore as being the person who most improved the catering. His lunch was brought up to him and he disliked his burger.”
“So he kicked it and it went flying, and had a few choice words of what he thought of the burger. The burger whacked into Rory, who was enjoying his burger and had no complaints.”
There is no mention of how Rory reacted over the flying burger. Although according to the co-creator, it was his ‘inner rage’ that landed him his role in the series in the first place. Mark went on to thank Ian, however, because after that incident the show got a new caterer.
How would you have reacted to the flying burger? Tell us in the comments below!
Fans have always been a bit nosy when it comes to the personal lives of Game of Thrones cast. When you’re that famous, it is hard to escape the curious eyes of your admirers. Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, famous for her bold character Daenerys Targaryen, was spotted with a coffee cup on a cold Sunday morning in London.
The gorgeous actress, who turned 34 last week on 23rd of October, was donning a puffer coat and a brown beanie. She also kept a trusty orange umbrella tucked under her arm to avoid getting wet in case it rained.
Emilia’s snap with the coffee cup is reminiscent of the infamous Game of Thrones’ scene where a Starbucks cup was left on the table. Fans were quick to spot it and were going crazy as it was too silly a mistake to commit for a show that big on budget.
In Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 4, ‘The Last of Starks‘, we see Tormund, very drunk, praising Jon Snow for all of his accomplishments. Daenerys is sitting on the table, spiralling into paranoia about Jon’s natural charisma and how much he is loved in the North. When the shot pans out, a Starbucks cup can be neatly spotted right next to Emilia Clarke.
The fans were in a fit over the little goof, and it became an instant meme. Let’s hope Clarke doesn’t have to face any such situation in future. Tell us how you felt about the infamous scene in the comments below!
23rd October was an important day for Game of Thrones fans all around the world. It is the birthday of one of the biggest stars of the show, Emilia Clarke. The beloved Khaleesi, Queen of the Dragons turned 34 on Friday. It was also an important day for Deadpool fans as well, as it was actor Ryan Reynolds’ birthday too. The veteran actor turned 44 on the same day.
Ryan Reynolds is known and adored for his fun-loving and comic nature. He took to Twitter to cause a stir amongst the fans when he tried to troll the Game of Thrones actress over their shared birthday. He declared, quite hilariously, that it was his day, not hers.
So sorry. I moved her birthday this year. It was feeling a little crowded for me. https://t.co/Mx5CXPKH4T

Emilia Clarke, however, hasn’t been on Twitter since 2013. So it is highly unlikely she would come out of her Twitter-retirement to respond to his antics.
Canada’s official Twitter account made sure to wish their national treasure a happy birthday to which he responded almost right away. Reynolds adorably responded just one minute later with two heart emojis and one Canadian flag emoji.
“We just wanted to pop into your feed and wish you a happy birthday on behalf of Canadians far and wide! Thanks for being you, eh?,” Canada tweeted.
Clarke and Reynolds are two of the best performers in the entertainment industry. Emilia even continued to work after her secret brain surgery back in 2012. Send your best wishes to them in the comments below!
