HBO has recently dropped the second teaser trailer for Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon, and it has revealed a lot of new details about the upcoming prequel. We get an extended look at Dragonstone, the base of operation for Rhaenyra Targaryen for most of the series. And for the first time, we get a clear look at two of the dragons in House of The Dragon.
The quality of the second teaser also looks much better than the first, and the fans have largely reacted positively to the trailer. There is also a lot more attention to detail, as we see a funeral sequence being held at Driftmark (the seat of power for the Velaryons) and a scene that looks like a confrontation between Rhaenyra and Alicent. Things are starting to really heat up, and we can only expect the full trailer to be even better after the completion of post-production duties.
Let’s have a look at a few of the Twitter reactions to the House of The Dragon teaser trailer:
story once written in blood cannot be started with ink, it needs blood to restart writing the story! 🙏

Hopefully with House of the Dragon, we can forget seasons 6, 7 and 8 of GOT ever happened (we only need to keep the Battle of the Bastards)

There was a varied response from the fans, from being really hyped up to the ones who are still mad about Game of Thrones Season 8. House of The Dragon’s closest competitor, The Rings of Power – A Lord of The Rings series, is still far ahead in September, which leaves plenty of time for fantasy lovers to enjoy Season 1 of the Game of Thrones prequel at their own pace.
