House of the Dragon, the precursor to Game of Thrones, is presently filming important scenes in Wales. There are certain outside shots that need to be included in the second season of the program, even if most of the sequences will be filmed in the comfort of WB’s Leavesden Studios in the UK. And one of the premier locations in Wales is currently being turned into a battlefield.
More leaks from Dinorwig Quarry
Dinorwig Quarry, also known as the Dinorwic Quarry, is one of the main locations where House of the Dragon is scheduled to film Season 2. It was previously suggested that the site would be portrayed as a major battle ground. Recent pictures from the set, provided by the Twitter account @King_Maegor support the same.

House of the Dragon preparing to film at a new site
To speed up production, HBO is simultaneously developing sets at various sites, where House of the Dragon is scheduled to film. One of the more recent locations is Nant Ffrancon/Ogwen Valley in Wales, where Redanian Intelligence spotted a new set being constructed for filming.
