Coming 4 Sept: The Owners (2020), Official Trailer
A group of friends think they found the perfect easy score: an empty house with safe full of cash. But the elderly couple return early .. and the tables are turned.. https://t.co/CiN8wW23gf— Sylvester McCoy (@4SylvesterMcCoy) August 15, 2020
Sylvester McCoy, who played the role between 1987-1989, would be seen as another doctor, Dr. Higgins, in darkly comedic thriller “The Owners”. The story swirls around an unexpected twist that involves four robbers and their female friend (Maisie Williams). They break into the lonesome house of an elderly couple, but things go downhill and they are forced to face situations that are scary and humorous at the same time.
Sylvester McCoy has worked in some famous roles in his career, other than Doctor Who. He was amazing as Radagast the Brown in the Hobbit series, and he is known for his cheeky, mild mannered and helpful roles. It would be really interesting to watch him transform from his good-guy personality, into a nefarious one.
Maisie Williams plays the role of Mary, who is the girlfriend of Ian Kenny (Nathan) in the thriller. Her smart and watchful nature continues to be seen in her new role as well. She tries to warn her boyfriend and his mates about the danger of pulling off a heist. But they don’t heed, and go through it anyway. And Maisie in the middle of it.
The movie is set to release on September 4, 2020. The trailers have been out on YouTube for a while and movie does seem intriguing. What are your thoughts? Please tell us in the comments below.
