The production stage of the Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is presently underway, and the actors are preparing for season 2. Flying about on the largest dragon in Westeros at the time, Aemond Targaryen, played a crucial role in the future civil war in Fire & Blood and will continue to do so in the series. Aemond, played by Ewan Mitchell, was recently spotted on the set of House of the Dragon.
Criston Cole spars with Aemond before battle
Cole and Aemond share a special relationship, one a scorned lover, and the other, a scorned and overlooked child. Aemond is unarguably Criston’s best student, and they were recently seen sparring ahead of the battle on the set of House of the Dragon in Bourne Woods.

Soldiers face the wrath of a dragon
It has been speculated for some time that a huge battle involving dragons is being filmed in Bourne Woods in Surrey. Several clips of the war sequence show soldiers fleeing from something huge, and a few more close-up shots show the burnt-up costumes of several extras.
