As most of you might already be knowing, Game of Thrones is filming its 7th Season in Spain, at the moment. In the meantime, the excitement is being kept alive by other Game of Thrones fandom news that’s hitting us one at a time. The latest news is about one of the most talked about things in the fandom : Cleganebowl.
For those of you who don’t know what Cleganebowl is, it’s a possible, and much-anticipated scenario in the series which sees the Clegane brothers, the Hound and the Mountain, in a fight. Now, in a feature in DigitalSpy, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (The Mountain) has admitted to being aware of all the anticipation around Cleganebowl!
Talking about Cleganebowl, Hafþór said :
“I cannot [read all of the fan theories] – it’s very hard for me to follow up everything that my fans comment, but I’ve been seeing some of them and I did notice a lot of people were talking about the Cleganebowl – people were waiting for me and my brother to fight.
There’s a lot of expectation from the fans to see that happen – obviously I cannot comment on that… you’re just going to have to see what’s gonna happen!”
Well, well, well, as long as it’s not a clear no, we will keep hoping! So far we have seen the brothers having a go at each other only once in the series,in the 1st season, when Loras Tyrell defeated Gregor Clegane (who was played by a different actor named Conan Stevens), who then attacked Ser Loras but thanks to the Hound, his life was saved. It was just a brief fight and the fans just can’t wait to see these 2 beasts fighting each other in the coming seasons.
If the Cleganebowl happens, how do you feel it will go down? Tell us in the comments, below!
