As we have bee hearing lately, theGame of Thrones Live Concert Experience is rocking the fans with every show on its tour, as a fitting tribute to the amazing music that the show has had over the years. With Ramin Djawadi, the music composer of the show, at the helm, the show is a must attend for a Game of Thrones fan. One of the most notable piece from the show, ‘The Rains of Castamere‘ which you might remember from the Red Wedding, is also in the concert, and we recently reported about how Serj Tankian, the frontman of System of a Down, performed the song at a show of the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience held in LA. Now, Matt Berninger of The National performed the same at the concert held at Las Vegas, and he rocked it as well!
At the Game of Thrones Live Concert show held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas,Matt Beringer came out to give a guest performance of ‘The Rains of Castamere’. The National has previously recorded their own version of this song, back in 2012, which released on the Season 2 Soundtrack of the show. Check out the video clips of Matt performing, below :

Like at Serj Tankian’s gig, this performance is too accompanied by clips from the show, and the ambiance taking the red and gold colors. The song is one of the most iconic tunes from the show and Matt certainly does it justice. It would be fun to see both, Matt and Serj perform this one together, which might just happen at one point in the concert’s run time. If any of you end up attending the concert, try not to panic when The Rains of Castamere starts playing.
