As we saw in the latest episode of Game of Thrones — Season 8 episode 2, “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms”, Winterfell prepared to face the Army of the Dead. The episode ended with a shot of the dead onlooking Winterfell from a distance. This scene, however, had a detail that most of us missed, and which is the real reason why we should be scared of The Battle of Winterfell.
Now, in case you don’t remember this particular scene, check out the image, below:
Notice it yet? That’s right. Every member of the Army of the Dead we see here is a White Walker, and not a wight. You can see the front line of the army stretch as far as eyes can see, and they’re all White Walkers, mounted on their horses.
Now, in the show, we have seen a bit about the creation of White Walkers. The Night King was created by the Children of the Forest, and he created the rest. Craster, a wildling, had many wives (who were actually his daughters) and claimed to have had 99 sons from them. We know he offered his newborns to the Night King to be converted into White Walkers. Considering the possibility that there have been more people like Craster, who have aided the Night King, the total number of White Walkers could be much, much higher than we thought.
That being said, maybe Jon’s strategy of going after the Night King directly is the best way out, after all. What do you guys think? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
Failures are the stepping stones to success. Game of Thrones became the huge and thriving franchise it is today after repeated efforts of the cast and crew despite facing huge setbacks. The popular TV show hit a major roadblock at the beginning of its filming. The original pilot episode of the series turned out to be a $10 million disaster and had to be re-filmed with a lot of changes. One of those changes also removed George R.R. Martin’s cameo scene.
Martin was supposed to appear as a Pentoshi magister at Khal Drogo and Daenerys’ wedding scene. He shared a picture of him in costume, along with co-star Ian McNeice. McNeice is dressed as Illyrio Mopatis, another magister of Pentos. They were shooting in Morocco.
Here’s another peek at the past, and the original pilot for GoT. We shot the wedding of Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo in Morocco. Ian McNeice played Illyrio Mopatis, and I played one of the wedding guests, presumably another magister. #TBT https://t.co/2BiGflKIIO pic.twitter.com/ItkUw75uvV

The Game of Thrones writer shared the picture on his Twitter and personal website, Not a Blog. Fans loved the snap, some even described them as medieval Santas.
More can be found out about the show’s unaired pilot in Entertainment Weekly editor James Hibberd’s book Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon. The book contains detailed information about various interviews with the show’s cast and crew. It delves into the secret behind-the-scene mysteries and brings them to the limelight.
Though the original pilot was absolutely bonkers and had to be re-shot, it lost a few fun elements. Like George R.R. Martin’s cameo, and even Ian McNeice was replaced. What do you think about the unaired pilot? Tell us in the comments below!
Music has often been described as the language of the soul. Every person has a specific taste in music, and there’s that one singer whose songs get close to your heart. Eminem, who is often described as the greatest rap artist of the current generation, acknowledged Sophie’s love for his music on his Twitter account. Turner had earlier posted a pic wearing an ‘8 Mile‘ T-shirt on Instagram. Eminem Tweeted the post on his Twitter account.

Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke is known for her liveliness and adventurous behaviour. The actress started a new chapter in life as she turned 34 on Friday, 23rd October. She celebrated her birthday in her own ‘Khaleesi’ way.
The Dragon Queen ruled the skies till now riding on her Dragons on the acclaimed TV show Game of Thrones. Though it was not real and was the result of amazing CGI and VFX work done by the crew, she looked majestic in each of the scenes.
Clarke, who played Queen of the Andals and Breaker of Chains Khaleesi Daenerys, took to the sky once again, this time for real. She jumped off an aeroplane to celebrate her 34th birthday in a spine-chilling way.
Emilia wrote her caption as, “What could match the profound existential terror of another birthday? Jumping out of a goddamn plane is what. #whosaysyoucanonlyflydragons? #freeeeeeeeeefaaaalllliiiinnnggggg #myfacialexpressionstellyouallyouneedtoknow #mymothermyhero #birthdaybluestakeapunch Thank you Hinton Sky Diving for the most exhilarating experience of my life!”
Clarke looked terrified and exhilarated in her post. The mother of the dragons proved once again just how brave she is even off the screen. The bold actress battled the after-effects of her brain surgery in secrecy, way back in 2012 while still shooting for the show. She felt exhausted throughout the second season, but she never gave up.
Feel free to send your best wishes to the highly talented actress in the comments below. Happy birthday Emilia!
