Something big is coming from HBO this Sunday and it’s the date of the premiere of the new season of Game of Thrones! Although so far we’ve been treated with the first teaser Dragonstone, two footages that reveal the opening scene of the series, yet that won’t be enough to ease up the cravings. For that HBO is bringing you the official premiere date on this Sunday, 13th of January.
We’ve all been waiting for the exact date of the airing of Game of Thrones for a while now or at least since HBO dropped the airing month via its #ForTheThrone campaign. But, this is really huge as we will get the exact date of premiere just before the third season of True Detective airs on Sunday.
This soothing reality was made public via the official Twitter handle of HBO and Game of Thrones. They posted a screenshot of someone from the team chatting with the Boss, probably Richard Plepler who recently did an interview with the variety, revealing each episode of the season was like a movie.

This makes me feel that Millions of viewers will be holding their grudges, seating themselves in front of their televisions, and eagerly waiting for the premiere date to be announced this Sunday. Yet, this marketing strategy of HBO seems a great way to bridge together the keen viewers of both Game of Thrones and True Detective together.
What do you guys think? Will there only be the premiere date or is something more already brewing up there? Tell us in the comments section down below.
