Game of Thrones Season 7 finished a while ago, and as some of you might know, Season 8 has already begun filming. The season is expected to premiere as late as 2019, so we know that the production for this one will be even more extensive than ever before. The production is hard at work setting up the filming environments, and in the latest set update we have a giant castle set being spotted at Belfast, Northern Ireland. Read on!
The set has been spotted before, and it was much smaller back then. Check out a picture, below (thanks to Los Siete Reinos) :
The new pictures now show the set to have expanded to become giant, implying that it must have a great involvement in the next season. Los Siete Reinos has a few new pictures for us, too. Check them out, below :
Paulo Ross also managed to get a couple of clearer pictures of the set. Check them out, below :

One thing is certain, considering how big the set is, it seems like we will be getting a grand scene filmed here. Paulo Ross’ pictures also give a closer look at the castle set construction, and highlight one giant siege weapon, a trebuchet, which seems to be just sitting there. If you know anything about trebuchets, you know that sh*t is about to go down!
Excited? We surely are! We will be updating you with more set news as we hear it, so tune in! Any speculations as to which castle this set could represent? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
