The stars of Game of Thrones are obviously quite at the top now, with the success of the show getting the seasoned actors from the cast, yet another achievement, while the new actors having gotten recognition because of their run on the show. As one would expect, many of the stars of the show are are quite nervous about the show coming to an end, which is understandable, given that they have been on the show for a long time, now. Issac Hempstead-Wright, who plays Bran Stark on the show, recently talked about how he was scared that the end of the show might mean ‘the end of gainful employment’ for him.
In a recent interview with GQ Style Magazine, Issac talked about the end of Game of Thrones, and more. He talked about the end of Game of Thrones, and how he was afraid that it might mean the end of his career :
“Terrifying! It’s going to have been pretty much half my life when it’s finished. It’s going to be so bizarre, like leaving school all over again. It’s kind of a bittersweet thing because it’s such a tight-knit family… and it’s also, you know, the end of gainful employment.”
Talking with how it was to play someone who couldn’t walk, Issac said :
“I was ten [when I got the part], so the last thing I was thinking was, ‘How am I going to act this and what is it like?’ I just… didn’t move my legs… there’s so much under-representation of disabled actors in the media. I’m aware it’s slightly grey territory… and I know I’m lucky to be able to get up at the end of a take.”
He also talked aboutKristian Nairn, who played the role of Hodor on the show, and how he shared a lot of his experiences with him :
“[He is] my best friend… He’s been thrust massively into the spotlight too. We both came up with no experience and obviously, being thrust into close proximity, we had to become close friends or worst enemies. Luckily, it was the former. He’s got such a great sense of humour, he’s so funny and he looks out for me like a brother.”
