Peter Dinklage is long known for playing Tyrion Lannister in the Game of Thrones TV series, and even more for the strong acting abilities, he showed while portraying the character. Well, according to the Variety, he is all set to act in a classic fairytale in development by Sony.
The project of Sony would be based upon the German tale of Rumpelstiltskin and Peter would be involved in it both as a star and a producer. While Patrick Ness will co-write the screenplay with Karen Rosenfelt, Matt Smith, and David Alpert, David Ginsberg, Josh Weinstock, and Peter will be producing the film.
Peter was last seen looking concerned over Jon and Daenerys’ pivotal scene in the season 7 finale. According to sources, this movie will be his next major project after Game of Thrones. Although much details of the upcoming movie haven’t been revealed yet, we guess Peter will once again mark his impression in the industry with this project.
The actor was highly appreciated for his acting, especially with his epic speech in the episode ‘The Laws of Gods and Men’, while being falsely tried for Joffrey Baratheon’s murder. Also, back in September of 2015, he received an Emmys for his supporting role in the series. Just to quote a couple of lines of this speech:
“I did not kill Joffrey, but I wish that I had! Watching your vicious bastard die gave me more relief than a thousand lying whores!”
