Game of Thrones is known for having cast some of the biggest names in the industry for vital roles in the series. So far, we’ve had a lot of brilliant actors on the show, and some more are yet to be introduced. EW has reported that actor Jim Broadbent, whom you would know from the Harry Potter series, Bridget Jones’s Diary, and Time Bandits, has been roped in for an important part in Game of Thrones season 7.
In typical Game of Thrones fashion, the show runners and producers have not revealed what role Broadbent is going to be playing on the show, but it is going to be a significant one is what we know so far. Since vague descriptions for the casting of characters has been released by HBO, we aren’t really sure what any new actors will be doing on Game of Thrones, but we can surely expect some vital new introductions, including that of Jim Broadbent.
Broadbent played the important role of Horace Slughorn in the Harry Potter franchise. We hope to see some great work from the talented actor in the coming seasons.
