Game of Thrones had an amazing cast and crew, and they have established themselves as some of the best talents in the television and film industry. They are everywhere, from DC to Marvel to Stranger Things and the upcoming Lord of The Rings TV series. While many would recognize Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen H’ghar) as the Russian guard who helped Hopper escape in Stranger Things Season 4, and a few more would remember Joseph Quinn (Koner) as the leader of the Hellfire club Eddie Munson, even less would know of this next Game of Thrones connection we are about to tell you.
Jamie Campbell Bower, who played the psycho orderly 001, who would later go on to become the main villain of Stranger Things Season 4 Vecna, was almost in the very first scene of Game of Thrones. Campbell Bower was supposed to play Ser Waymar Royce in Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 1, the arrogant young knight and member of the Night’s Watch who ventures far beyond the Wall and is killed by a wight. He played the role in the canceled Game of Thrones pilot, and was later replaced by Rob Ostlere in the new version that aired.
Campbell Bower was also cast in an unknown role in the canceled Game of Thrones prequel Bloodmoon. It was helmed by Jane Goldman and starred Naomi Watts, Naomi Ackie, Denise Gough and Campbell Bower in undisclosed roles.
